Hot Shots Golf 2 is one of the very best games available.  It isn't just golf, but the characters involved make it funny, memorable and, of course, in-depth.
In the Tournament mode, you compete against several other golvers in a straight-up golf tournament.  If you get first place, you get something that makes your time worth it, like additional backgounds to the menu, some game-improving clubs or some crazy balls.
In the VS. Mode, you face a computer opponent in order to unlock the character you are playing against.
If you think  that golf might not be that good, or even the other way around, you should check out Hot Shots Golf 2.  The game is great, especially with the memorable BGM turned on.  I can't play the game without it.  Have fun!!
